We’ve stayed at chapel bay many times and always have a great time. Gabby is great and makes sure you’re well looked after. Would highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Port st Mary.

We had a great stay in this homely apartment. Great location to explore Port St Mary as well as the rest of the island, with public transport being a great option . The Lodge had everything we needed and the bed was SO comfortable! Appreciated having the welcome basket, that was a nice touch.
It was great being able to have our dog with us. There aren’t many dog friendly apartments which are right next to the beach, and a grassy area for nighttime walks! I’d thoroughly recommend a visit. Thanks again, Gaby.

We can highly recommend Chapel Bay Lodge. If you are looking for a charming, peaceful seaside location it definitely fits the bill. The apartment is spacious, very well appointed and comfortable. The seascape decor is fun and artistic and adds to the whole seaside experience. There are great walks on the doorstep and some good restaurants in the locality. A truly relaxing experience. Enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment. Lots of lovely coastal walks and the snowy hills were a bonus.
Highly recommend a trip to the Shore Hotel in Gansey - only a 20 minute walk. Cosy bar area and really good food (and a warm welcome). Also the Sound Cafe at the end of the Island is a wonderful spot to visit (dog friendly too!).
All in all, a good, restful break with a comfortable place to end up each day.
PS forgot to mention, if you fancy heading up to Snaefell, stop at the Victory Cafe. You can walk to the summit from there. Good food (great pies!) - but suggest you eat after the walk (and not before as we did!)

Loved our short stay at the lodge! Fantastic location just across from the beach and such a lovely apartment - a great balance of practicality, comfort and creativity. We hope to return.

We had 3 nights from New Year's Eve. What a fabulous way to see in the New Year. Lovely, cosy, beachy accommodation with everything we needed. Great location, can leave the car and go on foot as close or as far as you want. The Albert is a great pub with log fire and very friendly staff. Our little dog Freddie loved it, fantastic beach right across the road and local pubs are mainly do friendly. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

We absolutely loved our time at this beautiful little condo. The photos were lovely but the effect of being here in person surprised us by being so much prettier than expected. This is a very well designed space with high ceilings that make it feel even more spacious than it is. The location is amazing, right on the Promenade in Port Le Moirrey (Port St Mary), across from the bay and the sea. Very walkable to Coffee Corner just four minutes up the walking path and a cute little Co-op for groceries. Drivable within twenty minutes to the airport, Castle Rushen, multiple stops of the steam locomotive (we used the Ballasalla stop and loved it), Cregneash (living Manx historical village), Rushen Abbey, Meayll Circle, and many other amazing locations. Gaby provided a binder with useful information about local restaurants. WiFi was excellent. Check out was simple (just bring rubbish from bin into green wheelie bin accessible through rear stairs). The bed and linens were very comfortable. Shower and bath with good water pressure and hot water. The kitchen was on the narrow side (hard for my husband who is a big tall person to use) but had needful equipment for cooking.The space is well decorated and homey. We really enjoyed our time there.

Great stay in IOM, using Gaby's apartment as a base. All mod cons and extremely comfortable - lovely views across the bay and beautiful sunrise each day. We recommend it without reservation.

This comfortable, stylish and spacious flat provided the perfect base from which to explore the Island and being able to walk our dog from the front door was much appreciated.

The perfect space in the perfect place for two people and a dog. Gaby was always quick to respond and provided lots of useful information at the Lodge to help us plan our trip, and the welcome parcel was perfect for arriving after a long trip. Would definitely recommend if you're looking to visit IOM.

Such a great spot, really enjoyed the space, it has everything you need. We would definitely recommend the Italian restaurant, and The Shore - which is also dog friendly (bar area). Also The Albert has a great view from the pub garden, well worth a sit on a dry day. Thanks for letting us stay. We've been here a week and still feel like we need more time to get to know the area.

Superb location with a magic view! Port St Mary is a beautiful village with a couple of nice pubs and cafes. We found it to be a really great base. The flat is quite spacious and comfortable with nearly everything you would need, washing machine excluded. Gaby was a great host, both communicative and flexible. We highly recommend.

Had a lovely 4 night stay in chapel bay lodge the location was perfect lovely sea views from our window the apartment was spotless and had everything we needed , we explored a lot of the beautiful island we will definitely be coming back in the near future .

We enjoyed it a lot staying in this cosy and comfortable apartment. Especially the area on the step in front of the windows where we cherished having breakfast in the sun - in October! Port St Mary is a nice little town - we warmly recommend to take that beautiful walk along the coastline to the Sound (where we watched seals playing) and further on to Port Erin. Thank you, Gaby, for those wonderful days!

Excellent Host, Beautiful location, peaceful, beach across the road and in view from the living room window. Gorgeous accommodation, i loved the beach theme. This is a great location for exploring the island. We loved it, i went wild swimming with the Blue Tits at nearby beaches. Watched the Seals further South. You will not be disappointed. I will be booking again.

Our third stay in this lovely flat! Great holiday feel and super comfy. Superb spot for the beautiful southern peninsula. With the lovely beach opposite and lovely dog walks along the coastal path it’s a really comfy dog welcoming holiday home. 5 stars would recommend.

Excellent communication from Gaby . On arrival it was immaculately clean. Gaby had left milk, biscuits, bath soak, washing liquid and hand wash, and sachets of tea and coffee . The decor is minimal and quirky. Bed very comfortable. Across road from lovely beach. Area very quiet but within close distance from lovely walks and good transport. Thankyou.

A treat to get away, so tranquil and calm. Loved being by the ocean and the sunshine was a blessing indeed. We slept so well in the lovely big bed and had afternoon naps on the deckchairs! Loved Chapel Bay Lodge, what a delightful place. Very conveniently located. The decor was great, with a nautical theme, loved all the wood. A lot of thought had gone into the design. Perfect for my friend and I, with great facilities. We dined at the nearby (15 minute walk) Fishery, which was great. The owner kept in touch. Would definitely recommend this to friends and family and would certainly stay again.

We had a lovely 3 day staycation in this lovely apartment with our 2 small dogs. We were extremely impressed with the cleanliness and comfort throughout, and how well appointed it was. The direct access onto the cliffs and coastal walks was an added bonus and was great for exercising the dogs. We enjoyed it so much that we intend to return soon!
We have to also say how friendly and professional Gaby and Nick are, queries prior to and during our stay were answered and dealt with promptly. Thanks to them both.

Just come back from a two night stay at Chapel Bay lodge and we enjoyed every minute. The apartments decor is outstanding having used lots of reclaimed wood and the soft furnishings are very tastefully done, lots of hard work gone into this apartment but so well worth it. It was also spotlessly clean and comfortable with everything you could possibly need on your stay.
The apartment is ideally situated to the shops and beach with lovely short coastal walks to the Quay and Gansey. All in all a lovely staycation and would highly recommend, well done Gaby 😊

I loved the nautical style and design touches of the apartment. It was really comfortable and I found everything I needed for cooking. The booking and check in procedure was quick and easy. Chapel Bay Lodge is in a perfect spot, overlooking the beach in Port St Mary and nearby the coastal path which is ideal for walks and seal spotting. The apartment itself is lovely. The photos simply do not do it justice. We found it much bigger than expected. The apartment is stylishly presented with lots of thoughtful touches. Gaby is the perfect host, very efficient but not overbearing. We had complete privacy but Gaby was quick to respond to any queries. We were first time visitors to the Isle of Man and were absolutely blown away by how beautiful and unspoilt it is. We will definitely be returning. I have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation and have friends who have already booked.

We stayed at Chapel Bay Lodge for a trip away to visit my Family in the Isle of Man. Location was absolutely stunning, so close to the beach, with wonderfully thoughtful and quirky nautical themed decor to match. Gaby was the best host, with clear comminution- she was on hand to help with anything we needed! The space is so beautiful and light, and really made it feel like a home away from home. Can’t fault it and we can’t wait to come back soon!!

Really comfortable place to stay. Bright, spacious and nicely decorated. Convenient location right across the road from a sheltered beach with walkway and benches. 5 mins walk to coop (grocery shop) and 2 nice coffee shops. Lovely spot, highly recommended!

Gaby’s place is small, but funkily stylish, well-equipped and spotlessly clean. It is situated close to all amenities in the charming harbourside town of Port St Mary, which although small, has a number of cafes and restaurants, beautiful views, walks and beaches. Nice touches, such as tea, coffee and cookies provide a warm welcome, along with information about the area. Gaby is a responsive and helpful host. Altogether, a lovely place to stay!

Just returned from a week at Chapel Bay lodge. It's a lovely place to stay. The Lodge is spacious, comfortable and well-equipped and makes for a relaxed holiday. It's full of character with ingenious use of upcycled materials, all of which gives it a seaside holiday vibe, yet it feels homely too. We'd love to return.

This is such a lovely location and a beautiful home. The photos don't quite indicate how spacious it really is, especially the front room and bedroom. Brilliant design for keeping sound and light out of the bedroom even if one person is up and about while the other is sleeping. Great spot to tour the southern island from.

The apartment was really homely with lovely decor and very clean. There was a cute welcome tray on arrival and the biscuits were a lovely added touch. There were lots of thoughtful extras like deckchairs that we made good use of as we even had some sunshine!! Super comfy bed and a nice big bath to relax in. Port St Mary was a really quaint town and you can do a great coastal walk to St Erin. It was a really lovely, quiet, relaxing break.

The location is fantastic, and Gaby did a great job bringing the beach theme into the property. It was cozy and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back.

Well worth it , love the decor

Nice place, super clean and uncluttered, perfect for escaping the rat race for a while. Gaby was always at hand to answer our calls, overall a very good stay.

Delightful place to stay right on the front at Port St. Mary, overlooking the beach and the harbour, on the ground floor of a Victorian terrace house on the promenade (palm trees, sort of Manx Torquay). Easy to get to from Douglas and a good jumping off point for the rest of the island. You can do the walk round the southern headland (The Chasms and Spanish Head) following the Raad ny Foillan round-island route straight from your front door. About 7 miles round to Port Erin and another mile or a bus ride back across the neck of the peninsula. All mod cons in the flat and Gaby has decorated it in a delightful style.

Had a great time, Gaby's place is lovely and well kept. There's a fish shop, grocery, and pharmacy right up the street, and it's easy to catch the bus or hike on the coastal footpath from the apartment. Recommended.

A beautiful, fun, bright and welcoming place with a stunning location. The decor is fun and uplifting, the flat is bright, airy and comfortable with a huge super king-sized bed. The location overlooking the lovely harbour at Port St Mary is beautiful and Gaby was a joy to deal with. Just perfect!

A lovely apartment in a lovely spot. With an eye for great design and minimalist style, this place is immediately bright and calming. Parking was easy, instructions clear and the welcome tray was a bonus. Gaby was easy to contact and quick to answer. I would love to stay again sometime.

It is a wonderful flat, beautifully decorated, cosy and comfy and a fabulous location! We were lucky with the weather and each morning we enjoyed our coffee out on the benches across the very quiet road looking out over the water- just brilliant :)

Gaby is the perfect host, there when you need her and not if you don't! The location is perfect along with the apartment, decorated to a high standard and "sea themed" throughout. This is our third visit to the island and we will be booking again.
